How do I measure my dog’s neck and head for a martingale collar?

Use a soft measuring tape and gently wrap it around your dog’s neck - not too tight, but not loose either. Then, measure the widest part of your dog’s head (typically around the ears).
We need two measurements:

  • Around the dog’s neck

  • Around the widest part of the head

Do martingale collars choke dogs?

No, when properly fitted, martingale collars do not choke your dog. They are designed to tighten gently and safely, preventing your dog from slipping out of the collar.

How do I care for your products?

  • BioThane® products: Simply clean with water. No special care needed.

  • Dog drying coats: Wash it in the washing machine at 30 degrees and then let it air dry in the shade. Always ensure to stick both parts of the straps together (the sticky white parts).

Yes, we offer product personalization. Email us at [email protected] with your ideas, and we’ll prepare a sketch of how your custom print could look on a collar or leash.
We can add your dog’s name, phone number, kennel name, logo, slogan, quote, or other graphic elements.

What leash lengths do you offer?

It depends on your needs.

  • For city walks: Short leashes offer better control.

  • For training recall commands or hiking: Longer leashes (also called tracking leashes) provide more freedom while keeping your dog under control.

Is BioThane® ISO 9001:2015 certified?

Yes, BioThane® is ISO 9001:2015 certified for the design and manufacturing of narrow coated webbing.

Does synthetic material harm animals?

No. When properly fitted, BioThane® is just as safe as leather and does not harm animals.

Will it smell if it gets wet?

No. BioThane® is odor-resistant and will not absorb unpleasant smells.

How long does BioThane® last?

Under normal use, BioThane® outlasts leather and nylon. It is built for long-term performance.

Will the color fade?

Opaque and deep shades retain their color the longest. Fluorescent colors may fade more quickly, especially with exposure to sunlight and wear.

Is BioThane® suitable for cold weather?

Yes, BioThane® remains flexible and durable even in freezing temperatures.

Can it get sticky or tacky?

Not during normal use. However, exposure to certain chemicals, like DEET, may cause the surface to become sticky.

Will the material cause hot spots?

Only if the product is poorly fitted. A correctly sized collar or harness will not cause hot spots or irritation.
